Before 2011, I danced ballet for a long time, but rather as a hobby. Within my first ROOTS & ROUTES Projects, a new “dancescape” opened itself, I got interested in working with the knowledge of people of different dance styles and I also tried different dance styles myself. In the projects The ROOTS & ROUTES Experience 2011 and Eutropia I got an insight into professional art work and also into how one can communicate between different art fields, thus work interdisciplinary.
In the ROOTS & ROUTES Peer Coach education in 2014, I got a pedagogical insight that I want to go on with in the future. Since I participated in projects of ROOTS & ROUTES I know that I want to have an artistic career. Also now in my Applied Theatre studies in Gießen, I’m working with the question how different forms of movement and art can be connected and how one an play with that.
Besides all the projects, ROOTS & ROUTES is a huge network of artists from Germany and from countries all over Europe. I really enjoy the diversity of personalities and different interests. I got a lot of contacts which in some cases turned into good friendships.
