Dimitra Zacharouli is a dance & theatre educator, a graduate of the Theatre Department of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Professional Dance School of the Municipality of Larissa, and a postgraduate in Applied/Clinical Sociology and Art (MA) of the Aegean and Western Macedonia Universities. Since 2004 she has been working as a dance and theatre teacher for children and youth in private and municipal dance schools in Greece and she is the co-founder of the Dance School Ekfrasi in Larissa.
Since 2018 she has been a member of the staff of Synergy of Music Theatre, where she works in project management and youth work. She also participates as a researcher and trainer in projects implemented by SMouTh within the topics of inclusion, socially engaged art and art intervention, and occasionally as a performer in its artistic productions.
