SMart is a non-profit organisation created in Belgium in 1998 which is developing itself in 8 European countries. SMart aims to simplify and support the professional paths of creative and cultural workers. Their principal goal is to help the self-employed to develop their own activities through a secure system.
SMart offers multiple services such as information, trainings, legal advice and a social professional network to artists and entrepreneurs in the creative industries. SMart works membership based; SMart members have access to online invoicing tools. SMartBE has been a partner in the transnational ROOTS & ROUTES project “Routes to Employment” running from 2014 to 2016.
