The event provided a space for representatives of each organisation to exchange insights, explore each other’s approaches, and collaboratively shape ideas for future projects. A key objective was to strengthen the Roots & Routes International Network by establishing connections with new partners and fostering potential collaborations.
On February 26th, the General Assembly of ROOTS & ROUTES International Association also took place, during which we had the pleasure of welcoming three new members to the network: Tempus Fugit Theatre (Lörrach, Germany), Visual Voices (Nicosia, Cyprus), and City of Women (Ljubljana, Slovenia).
With fruitful discussions, inspiring exchanges, and fresh ideas for the future, CABY25 marked a meaningful step forward—not only in strengthening international cooperation in art-based youth work but also in fostering artistic expression and advancing the broader mission of the Roots & Routes Network.
We look forward to seeing how these new connections and ideas evolve in the future!

From February 24th to 26th, 2025, 17 organisations from Europe and Africa gathered in Budapest, Hungary, for the CABY25: Connecting Art-Based Youthwork Seminar.
