The meeting marked the official start of the project and provided an important opportunity to establish a shared understanding of its goals and direction.
During the working sessions, partners clarified the project’s starting point, agreed on research methodologies and discussed the structure of its implementation, as well as approaches to communication and promotion.
Alongside the programme, time was also dedicated to informal exchange. Shared lunches and dinners, as well as walks through Cologne’s city centre and Christmas markets, created space for connection and strengthened collaboration within the partnership.
With a strong foundation laid and an inspiring atmosphere throughout the meeting, the ReStory project begins with great momentum. We are happy to close the year with this kick-off and look forward to the upcoming activities and next steps of the project.
ReStory is coordinated by ROOTS & ROUTES Cologne (Germany), in partnership with SMouTh (Larissa, Greece), Centro di Creazione e Cultura (Florence, Italy), City of Women (Ljubljana, Slovenia), Kaunas Cultural Centre of Various Nations (Kaunas, Lithuania), Subjective Values Foundation (Budapest, Hungary), and is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU.
From 6 to 10 December, the consortium of the international project "ReStory — Reclaiming Public Space through Participative Narratives“ met in Cologne for a kick-off Meeting, hosted by ROOTS & ROUTES Cologne.
